Welcome to Power Centre

Incorporated in 1999, Power Centre played a pioneering role in the introduction and popularization of L.T. Line Phase Separators in India.

Products

L.T. 2, 3, 4 & 5 LINE COMPOSITE PHASE SEPARATORS.

Mildspan clashing of conductors in the overhead L.T. Lines is a common phenomenon which occurs due to excessive winds, Storms, Rains, uneven or excessive sagging, use of longer spans etc. Due to these midspan clashing of two of more conductors (phase), there is generally a short CIRCUITING which causes heavy damages to the extent of burning of transformers and switch gears. Such regular interruption and short fall also causes heavy damages to the costly equipment in grid stations. Due to these problems not only the consumers suffer for interrupted and bad quality of power but the Electricity Boards are also suffering losses to the tune of various crores of rupees every year as THEY HAVE THE ELECTRICITY IN THE SYSTEM BUT THE SAME CANNOT BE SOLD TO THE CONSUMERS.

To overcome these problems, we have designed, developed and produced for the very FIRST TIME IN INDIA these composite flapped bolted and fly nut type composite phase separators. These will not permit the conductors to clash. The system developed by us is tested and tried and is very easy to install without any tool or tackle. These separators are suitable for all types of climates and they can withstand temperature up to + 65 c and – 40 c without effecting the formation and composition of material. These separators, so designed can withstand serve windy conditions. These separators are made of graded poly proplene material, fastners and fly nuts of nylone and as such are having magnificient electrical and mechanical values.

USEFULNESS

These separators can accommodate overhead conductors of all diameters which are generally used for L.T. Lines. These separators have a guaranteed life of 10 years. It has no effect of heat, winds, rain and snow and cannot cause short circuiting under any circumstances. The field trials and tests has proved beyond doubts that this has not only minimized the number of complaints, but a significant additional revenue has been generated by the boards which they were losing due to power shut downs, The Rural Electrification Corporation of India has recommended to all the State Electricity Boards in the country to use this item extensively in the L.T. overhead distribution system, so that the power loses are reduced and the additional revenue is earned by the Boards. Special care has been taken in designing and material for use of these separators in the costal areas.
